Cookie Policy

What this site sets today

The tools are static pages with no backend. The Google Analytics tag is not requested before consent. If analytics is rejected or no choice has been made, no Google Analytics request or analytics cookie is created. The site does not display ads and has no ad-network relationship — the ads.txt file is an explicit template, not a live declaration.

Consent management

The Cookie settings control appears throughout the site. You can choose Accept analytics or Reject optional. The choice is stored only in this browser under localtoolwork:analytics-consent so it applies across all tools.

If accepted, Google Analytics may create _ga and a property-specific _ga_* cookie to distinguish visits and preserve session state. Google sets these cookies with a maximum lifetime of up to two years, although browser settings or withdrawal may remove them earlier. Rejecting later removes these cookies and reloads the page without Analytics.

Local storage

The consent choice is kept in local storage under localtoolwork:analytics-consent. It contains only granted or denied. Clearing site data removes the choice; the consent prompt will then appear again.

Advertising status

No ads are currently served. Before any future AdSense activation, Local Toolworks will add a Google-certified consent-management platform where required and update this policy before advertising scripts go live.
