Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Local Toolworks. By using any tool on this site you agree to them. The short version: the tools are provided as-is, process your data locally, and come with no warranties.

The service

Local Toolworks is a personal side project of six browser-local utility tools. The tools are static pages with no backend; all processing happens in your browser.

Your use

You may use the tools for any lawful purpose, including commercial work with your own data. You are responsible for the files and text you process and for how you use the results. You must not use the tools to process unlawful content or to misrepresent results as coming from a source they did not. See the Acceptable Use Policy for details.

No warranties

The tools are provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Processing is bounded by your browser tab's memory; very large files may be slow or may fail, and each tool documents its own limits.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of this personal side project is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the tools — including data loss, corruption of output files, or reliance on results. Back up important files before processing them.

Changes

These terms may change as the site evolves. The date below reflects the last review; check back periodically for updates.

The consent-management integration point is wired but inactive: no CMP provider is configured on this build, so nothing optional is stored and there is nothing to revoke yet. When a provider is configured, your choices and revocation options will be shown here.
