Browser-local processing

Each tool is a static page that runs entirely in your browser tab. Files you select, text you paste, and results you produce are processed by JavaScript on your device. Nothing you drop into a tool is uploaded, transmitted, logged, or stored on any server.

The only way data leaves your device is if you choose to download a result (for example, a scrubbed image or a converted file). That download is a direct browser download to your own machine; the site does not receive a copy.

No accounts; optional analytics

There are no accounts, no sign-ins, no cloud storage, and no content telemetry. Files, pasted text, and tool output are never sent to Google Analytics. Google Analytics 4 is optional and its script is not requested until you choose Accept analytics in Cookie settings.

If accepted, Google Analytics may receive the pages visited, visit times, general browser and device information, approximate region, and broad interaction events such as scrolls or outbound-link clicks. Local Toolworks configures allow_google_signals: false and disables advertising-personalization signals. The site does not display advertising. You can reject analytics or withdraw acceptance at any time through Cookie settings. Withdrawal removes the site's Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page without the analytics script. See the Cookie Policy for cookie names and retention details.

Limits

Processing is bounded by your browser tab's memory, so very large files may be slow or may fail. Each tool documents its own limits and failure behaviour. Because nothing is stored, there is nothing to delete or export — closing the tab ends the session.
