Privacy Policy

Local Toolworks is a personal side project of six small utility tools. This policy explains what happens to the files and text you use with them. The short version: everything stays on your device.

Browser-local processing

Each tool is a static page that runs entirely in your browser tab. Files you select, text you paste, and results you produce are processed by JavaScript on your device. Nothing you drop into a tool is uploaded, transmitted, logged, or stored on any server.

The only way data leaves your device is if you choose to download a result (for example, a scrubbed image or a converted file). That download is a direct browser download to your own machine; the site does not receive a copy.

No accounts, no tracking

There are no accounts, no sign-ins, no cloud storage, and no content telemetry. The site does not run analytics or advertising scripts, and it sets no advertising or tracking cookies. See the Cookie Policy for details, and use the Cookie settings control in the footer to inspect the consent-management status at any time.

Limits

Processing is bounded by your browser tab's memory, so very large files may be slow or may fail. Each tool documents its own limits and failure behaviour. Because nothing is stored, there is nothing to delete or export — closing the tab ends the session.

The consent-management integration point is wired but inactive: no CMP provider is configured on this build, so nothing optional is stored and there is nothing to revoke yet. When a provider is configured, your choices and revocation options will be shown here.
